Summit University Undergraduate Admission Requirements
To gain admission into Summit University, Offa, candidates must meet specific requirements. Only those who qualify will be considered.
UTME Candidates Requirements
- Must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
- Must score at least 150 in UTME.
- Must choose Summit University, Offa as their first choice or apply for a change of institution.
- Must participate in the university’s post-UTME screening.
- Must have the correct JAMB subject combination for their chosen course.
- Must be at least 16 years old at the time of application.
Direct Entry Candidates Requirements
- Must have at least two (2) A-Level passes in relevant subjects.
- Candidates with OND, HND, NCE, or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions may be considered for 200-level admission.
- Must have five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
- Must obtain the Direct Entry (DE) form from JAMB and select Summit University, Offa as their preferred institution.

Summit University Postgraduate Admission Requirements
Candidates applying for postgraduate programs at Summit University, Offa, must meet the admission requirements based on their chosen program.

General Requirements
- Must have five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Must have obtained a previous degree from Summit University or any recognized institution.
- Must provide academic transcripts from previous institutions.
- Must meet the minimum CGPA requirements for the chosen program.
- May be required to undergo a screening or entrance examination.
- Must submit proof of completion of the NYSC scheme.

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree (Third Class or Pass) or an HND with at least Lower Credit from a recognized institution.
- Candidates with an HND or professional qualifications may also be considered.
Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class Lower (2:2) or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Candidates with a PGD in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 5.00 scale may also be considered.
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Requirements
- Must have a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) with a minimum CGPA of 4.00 on a 5.00 scale or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Must submit a detailed research proposal in the chosen area of study.
- May be required to undergo an oral interview or screening before final admission.
