Summit University Undergraduate Admission Requirements

To gain admission into Summit University, Offa, candidates must meet specific requirements. Only those who qualify will be considered.

UTME Candidates Requirements

  • Must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
  • Must score at least 150 in UTME.
  • Must choose Summit University, Offa as their first choice or apply for a change of institution.
  • Must participate in the university’s post-UTME screening.
  • Must have the correct JAMB subject combination for their chosen course.
  • Must be at least 16 years old at the time of application.

Direct Entry Candidates Requirements

  • Must have at least two (2) A-Level passes in relevant subjects.
  • Candidates with OND, HND, NCE, or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions may be considered for 200-level admission.
  • Must have five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
  • Must obtain the Direct Entry (DE) form from JAMB and select Summit University, Offa as their preferred institution.

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class Lower (2:2) or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Candidates with a PGD in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 5.00 scale may also be considered.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Requirements

  • Must have a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) with a minimum CGPA of 4.00 on a 5.00 scale or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Must submit a detailed research proposal in the chosen area of study.
  • May be required to undergo an oral interview or screening before final admission.
