There are two ways to check if you have been admitted to Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH):

  2. Through the YABATECH Admission Portal

Follow the steps below to check your admission status.

Method 1: Check Through JAMB Portal

  1. Visit the JAMB eFacility website: www.efacility.jamb.gov.ng
  2. Log in with your username and password.
  3. Scroll down and click on ‘Check Admission Status’.
  4. Choose your exam year and type your JAMB registration number.
  5. Click ‘Check Admission Status’ to know if you got admitted.
  6. For quicker access, click on ‘Access my CAPS’ to check admission updates.

Method 2: Check Through YABATECH Portal

  1. Visit the YABATECH admission portal: www.portal.yabatech.edu.ng
  2. Enter your registration number in the field provided.
  3. Click ‘Check Provisional Admission List’ to see your status.

What to Do After Admission

  • If admitted, click the ACCEPT button to confirm your admission.
  • Pay your acceptance fee immediately.
  • Print your acceptance receipt and admission letter for your records.

What If You Are Not Admitted Yet?

  • If your status says “Admission in progress”, check back regularly.
  • If you see “Not admitted”, don’t lose hope. Keep checking as more names may be added later.

How to Pay YABATECH Acceptance Fee 2024

Important Information

  • The acceptance fee for new students is ₦25,000.
  • This fee is non-refundable and must be paid as soon as possible.
  • The payment portal closes within weeks after admission, so don’t delay.
